LAWN SPRINKLER BLOW OUT

NH UNDERGROUND SPRINKLER SYSTEM WINTERIZATION

With fall upon us and winter approaching it will soon be time to winterize your irrigation system. We will begin sprinkler system blow out services mid-October.

Use the information and photos provided in this blog as a helpful guide to turning your lawn irrigation system water supply off. This process must be done in order for Greatscapes by R&R Landscaping, Inc to begin winterizing your sprinkler system. Once this process is complete, we will use a high pressure professional air compressor to blow out your irrigation lines.

1. First, find the pipe inside your home that sends water to the backflow preventer for your sprinkler system. The back flow preventer is usually outside the home.

2. Then find the closest shutoff valve, inside your home, that controls the flow of water to the pipe that feeds the back flow preventer. Turn that valve off.
